Jai Gangaajal is an upcoming Bollywood action drama starring Priyanka Chopra in the main protagonist lead. She is bestowed with a powerful cop role to portray a tough angry young woman.

The story is about the first woman SP in the Bankepur district of Uttar Pradesh where the place is dominated by corrupt politicians and is a strictly non-glamorous role. The trailer of the movie caught in the eyes of Amitabh Bachchan who praised the dynamic role of the actress in his Twitter space.

The lady in turn responded back that it was Amitabh Ji who inspired her to do such a role. To note the history of Amitabh’s filmography, the 1970’s movies like Deewar and Trishul were a breakthrough for him by doing similar roles.
