Oyyaram" Track from Jigarthanda Double X Now Out!
Article posted on 13 November 2023The words-and-music video for the song "Oyyaram" from Jigarthanda Double X was posted on social media by the creators this Monday. The song is sung by Meenakshi Elayaraja, Meenakshi Santhosh, Aditya Ravindran, and Santhosh Narayanan. The lyrics were written by Vivek, and the music for the movie was created by Santhosh Narayanan.
Jigarthanda Double X is the next part of the movie Jigarthanda, which came out in 2014. Karthik Subbaraj directed both films, and they share a theme of exploring the lives of a filmmaker and a gangster.
In this sequel, Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah are the main actors. SJ Suryah pretends to be a filmmaker making a Tamil movie with Raghava Lawrence as the lead actor, who is the first dark-skinned Tamil hero.
The movie premiered during Diwali and got a good reaction. Other actors in the film include Nimisha Sajayan, Ilavarasu, Sanjana Natarajan, and Naveen Chandra in important roles.
The team behind Jigarthanda Double X includes the music composer Santhosh Narayanan, the cameraperson S S Thirunavukarasu (who worked with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury and Petta), and the editor Shafique Mohamed Ali.
The movie is supported by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kathiresan under the Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
